M-Squad’s latest project receives critical acclaim from music industry insiders and fans

Over the years M-Squad has been through many changes, while some changes were the result of calculated strategic planning and others due to circumstances beyond their control, the group has somehow managed to stay focused and dedicated to their original goal of being successful in the entertainment industry.
These changes both positive and negative are not only reflected in the group’s music as they have grown over the years, but these experiences have helped shape their careers as they navigate their way through life and the complicated and very unpredictable entertainment industry.
Influenced by groups like The Geto Boys, Underground Kingz (UGK), Street Military, DJ Screw and The Screwed Up Click (S.U.C.) and the glory days of the Houston rap scene, M-Squad’s music career began when a few friends from Missouri City Texas; (Yung Husain, Young Pimp Fe and D-Moe aka L.A.R.N KingUno), who shared a similar love for music began writing and recording music together. Using the internet and social media to share their music with family and friends, M-Squad’s music and reputation began to spread throughout the South and Houston’s underground Rap scene, slowly gaining the group a loyal and dedicated following.
Fueled by their growing fame and the public’s acceptance of their music, M-Squad released a series of very successful mix-tapes and singles under the M-Squad name as well as projects from the group’s individual members including; Yung Husain’s - Last Man Standing which included the tracks From Da Stone, H-Town (part 1), Texas Takeover and Door Slamin. The group’s follow-up to Yung Husain’s - Last Man Standing was Texas Most Wanted - Vol 1, the first full-length mix-tape featuring all the members of M-Squad. Texas Most Wanted - Vol 1 included the tracks, Product Of My Environment, Stuntin, All Black, H-Town (part 2) and Screwston Texas by D-Moe (L.A.R.N KingUno) a track dedicated to Houston’s Chopped and Screwed legends that have passed away.
Texas Most Wanted - Vol 2 featuring the singles; Hood Anthem, Address It, I’ll Never Lose Again and Where They Dew That At was released to complete the Texas Most Wanted - Vol 1 & 2 mix-tape series. Where They Dew That At received critical acclaim from the streets and industry insiders, the track was an instant crowd favorite when the group performed live and was put in rotation by several online and traditional radio stations. M-Squad followed up their success with Where They Dew That At with the release of Sex in the Rain (Single) and several music videos created and released through YouTube and other social media platforms for tracks from thier various mixtapes.
M-Squad’s latest project Up From The Bottom (Single), scheduled for release later this year, will only help establish M-Squad and It’s individual members as the most wanted well respected lyricists in the rap game.
